One thing Castiel didn’t miss about being an angel was the ability to keep his vessel spotless with little to no effort. While healing from a major fight or injury always took some time, things like dirt and dust or tears in clothing were minor issues that were so easy to fix he hardly noticed he did it.

So it’s not surprising that in his newly fallen state, Castiel had a lot to learn about….maintaining his human body.
